Thomas Schenck

TomThomas Schenck is an MS student with the Center for Integrative Geosciences at UCONN. He is interested in erosive and depositional geomorphology, sedimentology, and mass wasting processes. His research at UCONN focuses on using kettle ponds located within floodplains to reconstruct a paleo-flood record for inland southern New England. He earned his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, where he majored in Physics and minored in Geology. Sometimes he misses advanced math and dabbles in seismology and fluid mechanics because of it.
